Everything you need to set up, use, and troubleshoot your MedID medical ID bracelet
If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency:
Choose a topic to jump directly to the information you need
Developer Note: Add photo showing QR code location and NFC chip symbol on bracelet
Your MedID account contains sensitive medical information. Use a password with at least 12 characters including letters, numbers, and symbols.
Developer Note: Add animated GIF showing proper NFC scanning position for iPhone (top edge) and Android (back center)
iPhone: Hold phone's TOP EDGE (near camera) over the NFC symbol for 1-2 seconds. Android: Hold phone's BACK CENTER over the NFC symbol for 1-2 seconds. Ensure NFC is enabled: Settings → Connections → NFC
PIN Protection: Setting a PIN may delay first responders' access to your information in an emergency. We recommend using the 30-second timer option instead, which allows immediate access in critical situations while protecting privacy during non-emergencies.
Your MedID bracelet is now active and ready to protect you. Test the scanning function to ensure everything works correctly.
